How can I promote by business on social media without blatantly selling my services? Most of us realise that a sales pitch is an instant turn-off.
One effective solution is to ask (and then answer) the questions you know your target audience will be asking. E.g. If you’re a high-end graphic designer, post a tweet starting with a question e.g. “Why would I pay £3000 for a logo when I can get one done for £1000?” Or If you want to attract clients in Cheltenham who want to get to No.1 on Google, post a tweet: “How can I get to the top of Google in Cheltenham?” If you’re a lawyer who specialises in work-related injuries, post the tweet: “I’ve been off sick due to work related stress, can I get compensation?” After the question, post a link to an article that answers this question. If your audience are asking these questions, they will feel compelled to click on the link to find out the answer.
Running a successful social media campaign is very simple. It’s all about putting yourself in the shoes of your audience.
