Do you have a duplicate LinkedIn account? We recommend you delete one of them to avoid confusing your customers.
If you want to delete your LinkedIn account, you need to go into your settings. To do this, you need to go up to the top right hand side of your LinkedIn screen where it displays your name, then click on settings.
You will now be taken to the settings screen, and at the bottom of your settings screen, you’ve got a tab that says account. If you then go to close your account, LinkedIn will ask you why you want to close your account. Select the reason you want to delete your account.
Click on continue. Now, LinkedIn will give you a couple of prompts to make sure that this is what you really want to do. So, the first thing you’ve got to do is verify your account. They will give you a long message explaining the consequences, and I would recommend that you read this message through as you need to think very carefully before you close an account.
You might have a very good reason e.g. you have a duplicate account, but there might be other reasons, so read this through again. When you are absolutely sure you want to close it, click on close account. You will then get confirmation that the account is being closed.
